When Data can save lives

A collective empowerment project in the townships of Cape Town, connecting and safeguarding women through access to internet data.

$4 of data a month provides online support and mental health counsel to one isolated woman. Ten groups of women have been active for almost four months in the program, and a total of 120 women have been regularly ‘recharged’ with data. Access to data, saving lives.
