Our Funding Initiatives

Your support will contribute to shaping future global leaders. Consider supporting the following initiatives:

The UCT Endowment

This fund is vital for supporting strategic teaching and research, helping UCT maintain its prestigious position in higher education. Your generosity will foster the next generation of talented researchers and innovators. Expanding UCT’s Endowment will protect against reduced government funding and ensure UCT’s continued excellence in Africa and globally.

Under the umbrella of Canadian-funded bursaries, you can join your fellow alumni in supporting:

  • The North American Post-Graduate Humanities Bursary – Supporting global leaders in interdisciplinary research and teaching.
  • The Young Professionals Bursary – Building a global network of professional alumni in Commerce, Law, Computer Science, and Health Sciences.
  • The Canadian Alumni General Bursary Program – Filling the gap in state funding, assisting “missing middle” students who do not qualify for state funding.
  • The SADC Student Hardship Fund provides emergency financial support for students from the SADC community.
