This partnership will see hospitals and community health centres in the greater Southern Cape acting as teaching platforms for UCT final-year health sciences students.

Global celebrations are taking place to recognise UCT’s 96th Birthday on Wednesday 2nd April 2014. This recognises UCT as one of the first degree conferring institutions in South Africa, and today our alumni span the globe.

Canadian alumni are so widespread that we will celebrate with a two-pronged approach: events in main centres and a collection of ‘virtual’ events sent in by alumni in other areas raising a toast to UCT.
