UCT Foundation awards eight bursaries in 2009

The Annual Alumni Appeal was posted early in November 2008 and the response from Canadian alumni has been steady. As a result, enough funds were raised from alumni to support at least four bursaries in 2009. Additional private donations made possible the award of four further bursaries, assistance to SHAWCO for schools internet access, and support of the Ikhwezi Theatre Festival at the Baxter Theatre Centre
